Premiere evening artist portraits in Cinecitta
Internationals Art Channel Tilburg – Heart of Brabant
On March 23, 2023, the second premiere night of the secondseries of artist portraits for the Internationals Art Channel took place. After a warm welcome in the crowded, large, oldest cinema in the Netherlands Zaal 1 in Cinecitta Tilburg by host Jan Zobel, the artist’s portraits were introduced and shown for the first time.
The kick-off took place by guitarist, composer and visual artist Jacq Palinckx, who guided the audience to the paradise of musical and visual ‘simplicity’ through surprising twists and suspense à la Hitchcock.
Dancer and choreographer Ulrike Doszmann paid tribute to the humor and the absurd in dance, mixed with her memories of the former East Germany.
Sanne Bax closed the row with her expeditions in the rugged landscape, translated into spatial textiles and also completely intertwined with nature and the identification with the restful life of a sheep.
In short, once again it was a plea for the unknown in art, whichthe numerous audience clearly and audibly enjoyed.
The announcement of the next series of three artist portraits to be produced by Jan Doms (editor) and Tom Pijnenburg (camera and film montage) resulted in an exciting moment.

After the traditional floral tribute to the artists, the evening was festively concluded in the auditorium of the beautiful Cinecitta film theatre.

Première-avond kunstenaarsportretten Cinecitta
Internationals Art Channel Tilburg – Hart van Brabant
Op 23 maart 2023 vond de tweede premiëre-avond plaats van de tweede serie kunstenaarsportretten voor het Internationals Art Channel. Na een warm welkom in de druk bezochte grote oudste bioscoopzaal van Nederland Zaal 1 in Cinecitta Tilburg door Jan Zobel, werden de kunstenaarsportretten geïntroduceerd en voor
het eerst vertoond.
De spits werd afgebeten door gitarist, componist en beeldend kunstenaar Jacq Palinckx die het publiek meevoerde naar het paradijs van de muzikale en beeldende eenvoud via verrassende wendingen en suspense à la Hitchcock.
Danser en choreograaf Ulrike Doszmann bracht een ode aan de humor en het absurde in de dans, vermengd met haar
herinneringen uit het voormalige Oost-Duitsland.
Sanne Bax sloot de rij met haar expedities in het ruige
landschap, vertaald in ruimtelijk textiel en ook nog volkomen
verweven met de natuur en de vereenzelving met het
rustgevende leven van een schaap.
Kortom wederom was het een pleidooi voor het onbekende in de kunst, waar het talrijke publiek duidelijk en hoorbaar van genoot. De aankondiging van de volgende serie van drie kunstenaars portretten die geproduceerd gaan worden door Jan Doms (redactie) en Tom Pijnenburg (camera en filmmontage) leverde een spannend moment op.
